MoviChip warrants to the customer that all MoviChip products will be free from material & workmanship defects for a period of twelve months from date of the original purchase. Products that fail within this 12-month warranty period will be repaired or replaced at MoviChip’s discretion, if it is determined by MOVICHIP that the product failed due to defects in material or workmanship.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the MOVICHIP product. In no event shall this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the MOVICHIP product nor shall MOVICHIP be responsible for special, incidental or consequential damages or cost incurred due to the failure of this product.
Warranty claims to MOVICHIP must be postage prepaid and accompanied with dated proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of product and is non-transferable. All implied warranties shall be limited in duration to the said 12-month warranty period.
Improper use or installation, accident, abuse, unauthorized repairs or alterations voids this warranty.
MOVICHIP disclaims any liability for consequential damages due to breach of any written or implied warranty on all products manufactured by MOVICHIP.
Warranty returns will only be accepted by MOVICHIP when accompanied by a valid Product Return Authorisation (PRA number. Product must be received by MOVICHIP within 30 days of the date the PRA is issued. Please note that before MOVICHIP can issue an PRA for any electronic product, it is first necessary for the installer or end user to contact MoviChip by email to discuss the problem. Most issues can be resolved by email. Under no circumstances should a product be returned or a PRA requested before the above process is completed.
MOVICHIP will not be responsible for electronic products that are installed incorrectly, installed in a non approved or unsuitable application, misused, or tampered with. Any MoviChip product can be returned for repair if it is out of the warranty period. There is a minimum charge of 45.00EURO for inspection and diagnosis of MOVICHIP products.
Parts & labour used in the repair of MOVICHIP electronic components will be extra. MOVICHIP will provide an estimate of repairs and receive a written authorisation from the customer before repairs are made to the product.
If return postage of the product to the customer has not been prepaid, postage will be charged in addition to the inspection charge & parts and labour costs. All charges must be paid before the product is repaired. MoviChip will store product up to one month while waiting for payment of the repairs after which the product will be disposed of.
MoviChip products are supplied with a 1 year, repair or replace warranty.
